Bangkok, The City of Angels
Silom Road (ถนน สีลม) used to be the main business district for many
years before Sukhumvit was intensely developed into what it is
today. Connecting Rama 4 Road on the East with Charoenkrung Road
(Riverside) on the West it runs parallel to and in between Sathorn
and Suriwongse Road. Aside of being the center of banking as well as

Chinatown (ไชน่าทาวน์) is, well as one would expect China Town,

It is centered by the Giant Swing and with its vicinity to the Old City (Rattanakosin),

The main access is through either Yaowarat road or River boat,

The present King of Thailand, King Rama IX, however, resides at the Chitralada Palace.
Rachadaphisek Road (ถนน รัชดาภิเษก)is a much lesser know North – South road, running from Rama 3 in the South all the way to Lard Prao in the North,
passing the Queen Sirikit Convention Center, crossing Sukhumvit Road (and the Skytrain) in Asoke.
It is followed by the Underground (MRT) on most of it's length.
It is home to several entertainment complexes and nightclubs, a wide selection of hotels, as well as some administration buildings and embassies.
Halfway through it as well the area referred to as RCA (Royal City Avenue) which is the re-emerging clubbing area of town.
Chatuchak (จตุจักร)
Chidlom Road (ถนน ชิดลม)
is in principle the upper (West) part of Sukhumvit Road – betweem Rama 1 Road and the latter.

connecting Central Chidlom with the Rajaprasong area over Central World Plaza to the Siam Square area and ultimately MBK shopping mall.

Suvarnabhumi International Airport (ท่าอากาศยาน สุวรรณภูมิ)
covers an area of some 20,000 rais (8,000 acres). The new Bangkok international airport is located about 20 km of on the east-bound Bangna-Trat Highway in Bang Phli District,
Samut Prakarn Province and is about 35 km from Bangkok Central Business District.
There are various access roads, the most convenient being via Rama 9 Road in the North East or via Bangna in the South East of town,
depending on the final destination.
